A CENTRAL BUILDING DESIGNED FOR COLLABORATION
The central building of BIH is defined by the interaction of the businesses within the building, taking form in three distinctive bars connected by elevated bridges. Advanced earthworks and piling commenced in November 2013 followed by main works in August 2014. Completion is expected in 2016.
Blue / Laboratories: The primary spaces of the Northern bar house state of-the-art biotech laboratories. Key tenants are Ministry of Health and Department of Forensics. BIH has partnered with a local Financier for Laboratory equipment fitting out.
Peach / Amenities: The primary spaces of the Central bar house the amenities for all tenants. The amenities not only support the tenants, but also function as a central space for collaboration and conversation.
Brown / Offices: The majority of the office spaces are concentrated in the Southern bar. The open office plan allows for flexibility in space sizes and function, accommodating each tenant as they grow.
Bridges / Connection Spaces: The bridges provide physical and social links between each of the bars. Overlooking courtyard amphitheaters, the bridges are designed with spaces for interaction and discussion.
