
How to Become a Member of Botswana Digital & Innovation Hub
Botswana Digital & Innovation Hub invites qualifying local and international companies, research and advanced training institutions operating within the five focus areas to become members.
Registration Guidelines
Submit of the following;
• complete application form: Apply Here
• cover letter or Board resolution
• comprehensive project/business plan
• company certificates/accreditation certificates
The application review process takes approximately 8 weeks, and the Registration Committee is scheduled to meet monthly, and the Committee processing registration applications on a first come first serve basis. All applications undergo a due diligence process, followed by a thorough assessment by Botswana Digital & Innovation Hub members of staff and experts sourced by Botswana Digital & Innovation Hub. The assessment report, together with the application package, is then submitted to the BDIH Registration Committee for evaluation.

To become a registered member or partner of BDIH, entities must be operating within the following focus sectors:
1. Information and Communication Technology
2. Mining Technology
3. Energy and Environment
4. Biotechnology
5. Indigenous Knowledge Systems (IKS)
Within These Focus Sectors and Categories, BIH Selects Partners and Members Based on the Following Aspects:
1. Product / Service / Method that creates new or unique value for Botswana Digital & Innovation Hub stakeholders and Botswana
2. Stage / Level of Innovation (Idea, Research / Screening and Experimentation, Testing / Proof of Concept / Prototyping, Commercialization / Production, Diffusion and Implementation)
3. Target Market / Social Need being Addressed
